ASSESS YOUR STRENGTHS SENSIBLY: A STRATEGY FOR REASONABLE SAVINGS
(strategy eight)

There is limit for each of us has— human strength and abilities are not unlimited. Remember: the danger lies in the desire to try to go beyond your capabilities. You need to know your capabilities and calculate your strengths carefully. Evaluate the losses you can incur in the war: lost time, reputation at stake, a fierce opponent ready for revenge. Sometimes it's better to wait, to sneak up on the enemy quietly, rather than openly hitting him head-on. If the battle cannot be avoided, impose your own conditions on the enemies. Strike at their weak points; make the war expensive for them, but cheap for yourself.

By fighting sparingly, you will be able to resist even the most dangerous opponent.
