Analyzing the the US and NATO armed forces military actions in Iraq, Afghanistan, as well as special military operations of the Russian Federation in Chechnya, Syria and Ukraine, it can be confidently noted that in modern environment urban warfare has become more than relevant. Cities used for defense (especially those prepared for it) turned into cemeteries for enemy armies. Taking into account modern and perspective weapons, as well as interaction with reinforced units of the Ground Forces, the tactics (tactical standards) of army combat operations in urban environment were considered, as well as the views of military experts were analyzed and the results of issues aimed at increasing the combat readiness of troops during combat in urban area were summed up.
