UNIVERSAL ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MODERN COMBAT – RUSSIAN VIEW

Until recently, artificial intelligence (AI) technologies were used to solve, as a rule, highly specialized tasks (weak artificial intelligence) with a small set of functions assigned to it. Currently, specialists are developing a universal (strong) artificial intelligence capable of thinking, interacting, and adapting to changing conditions like a human. Any lag behind the leading powers increases their own vulnerability, which will be very difficult to compensate for with conventional weapons, so the development of artificial intelligence becomes an important task of ensuring the national security of the state.
